Catching up
For those of you who have been out of touch with me for the last little while, and this includes those of you that have never met me, I thought it would be helpful to say where I am at.
Having completed a year as a Teaching Assistant at a local high school, I have been inspired to continue my studies in order to get a degree and then a teaching certificate. I missed a deadline for an Internal Transfer Request, so I am waiting until January before I can being taking classes. I am switching from Statistics to Religious Studies and I have three semesters to go, plus one year to get a teaching certificate.
I am currently working part-time, and that part is too small, at Sport Chek, seeking more work. I am also looking at a youth pastor position that is opening up soon.
Highlights of the last year, include a trip to Europe to visit my sister and embark on a self-guided Mennonite history tour, a trip to a national youth conference as a youth sponsor, and a flight to Manitoba for a cousin's wedding and to visit my sister, brother-in-law and nephew.
I'd love to hear from any of you, whether you are new to my page, or if you are a long lost friend.
