I've observed pregnancies in a European country as well as Canada and I found that there are strengths and weaknesses in both countries. For instance, in Holland they have a very non-intrusive method of health care. Good most of the time, but that 2% chance that you should have had a C-section and you didn't can really bite you in the arse. I don’t know about that.
